The Sensational Sacha Sacket

Openly gay Sacha Sacket is taking the nation by storm as one of today’s most entertaining musicians, seamlessly incorporating rock, pop and even dance into his original musical performances. With a spine-tingling baritone voice that’s perhaps his greatest asset; his live shows are truly bar none. Armed with a piano and a lifetime of classical training, he barrages his audience with a no-holds-barred intensity: his talent is undeniable, his music envelops you. Able to perform solo, with a full band, or with an array of synths, computers, and beats, Sacket is poised to be the next big name to emerge from the independent music scene.

First hitting the stage at age six as a spunky Mickey Mouse, his career as a performer took shape through years of piano performances and theatrical productions. After being admitted to the prestigious film school of the University of Southern California, Sacket earned a double major in theater and film, all the while sharpening his musical craft inside its acclaimed music school. After graduating from USC, Sacket’s skills as an entertainer propelled his musical career. Although Sacket still plays to loyal fans on the club and coffeehouse circuit, he now is a regular performer of national Pride celebrations, sharing the stage with such diverse acts as Pepper Mashay, Cece Peniston, Lady Bunny and Bruce Vilanch.

His debut album Alabaster Flesh was nominated for best album in the Out Music Awards in 2001 and charted at #1 on the Out Voice Top 40 charts. Sacket is touring with his acclaimed second album, Shadowed, bringing his flawless piano performances and captivating voice to audiences nationwide. More info check out: www.sachasacket.com.
